JANUARY CHALLENGE | "TOUCHY FEELY" MOODBOARD

HAPPY NEW YEAR! New year, new month, new challenge.  This month we say farewell to half of our DT as they embark on other scrap adventures.  At the end of the month and into next month we will introduce the new members joining the Scrap the Girls Team.

To those leaving, I thank them for all the time and creative sparkle they have invested into this challenge blog.  I appreciate the effort as I am sure all you followers do.  So from the bottom of my heart, Thank You, Gwen, Lucie, Rosemary, Tanya and Guylaine.  All the best for the future.

This year we have so creative challenges to get you thinking.  Starting with January here it is...

Be inspired by what you see!

Here is the Design Teams inspiration....

This year we have Scrap Accent back on board for the International Players and I am so happy they are.  Their products are so awesome.

For the Homegrown players we have filled all our sponsor spots and will be starting off with Cut to You as this months sponsors.

Make sure you head over to all the sponsors pages and check out what they have on offer to add those finishing touches to your layouts.

Here is the the 2019's final take on the challenge.  Next month we will officially welcome in the new team.  I can't wait for you to meet them.

Lucie was unwell this month and unable to complete her final challange for STG.  Hope you get better soon Lucie and all the best for a wonderful future. xx

This months sponsor is Corbett Creations.  Jodi can hook you up for all your wood veneer needs.  Please make sure you head over and check her page out of Facebook.  She also has a challenge page so go check that out to  win yourself some new veneers!

We  also have Scrap Accent on for our International Sponsor.  Kareen has flair and other ephemera that is perfect for all you scrap needs.  She too has a challenge page so head over and check that out too.

JANUARY CHALLENGE | "GOT THE BLUES"

HAPPY NEW YEAR LOVELIES!

I hope that Santa was good to you and you have all your New Years Resolutions listed ready to be broken by the end of the month. :P  I have decided once again to partake in the Ali Edwards One Little Word but without all the commitment of the document in an album stuff.  I am going to do it via my favourite social media - Instagram.  You know all the pictures without all the bulls*&% that goes with it...well less of it any ways.  I would love to know your resolutions and if you are participating in One Little Word so leave a comment!

So, it's a New Year and there are a few changes taking place this year.  Skai had decided to step back due to other commitments and we are adding two new team members.... A homegrown talent of Gwen Wruck and an international, Veronique Gagne.  You will recognise Gwen as a big contributor to the now defunked Scrapbooking Memories Magazine and she was also one of last years masters. Veronique guested for me last year and loved the challenge so much she accepted my offer to join the team.  Both Gwen and Veronique have very different styles and I know you will find some inspiration from these lovely ladies.  Go and check out their links in the side bar or under her take on this months challenge.

On to this months challenge.  I decided to start things off easy with a Colour moodboard.  Remember you can be inspired by anything about the moodboard but it has to include the featured colour....the title is "Got the Blues"  so you guessed it the feature colour is Blue.

I know I have been a little behind in announcing Novembers winner so both the November and December winners will be announced later this week.  Keep an eye out for that.

This months sponsor is The Resin Rainbow so make sure you link up to be in the running for an awesome prize.
As always Accent Scrapbooking will be supplying an International winners prize all throughout the year so everyone is in the running for some awesome prizes.  We have locked in sponsors for the entire year already and most months we have more than one!

I can't wait to see where this month's moodboard takes you and please let us know what your 2018 plans/resolutions/one little words are!

Cheers
Krisy xx

Ps.  This is not a sponsored post from Ali Edwards One Little Word.  I just like the concept! My Instagram is @popleopod if you would like to check it out.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! | JANUARY MOODBOARD CHALLENGE

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year!  2016 was a bit of fun and 2017 is set to be too.  In a few months I am going to become a "blood" aunty for the first time with my brother and his partner set to have a baby girl, I have two scrapbooking retreats planned and other things I am working on.  I am just a bit excited.  How is your 2017 looking?

This month is the last of our current design team.  The girls have done a fabulous job over the last six months and created some amazing inspiration for you all.  This month is no exception.  This month the moodboard is a bit of a challenging one but the layouts the girls have produced are absolutely beautiful.

Here is this months moodboard designed by DT Rikki.  I'd like to thank Rikki for taking time to put together all our moodboards and sketches over the last six months.  This next design team term we will be changing things up with the introduction of themed moodboard amongst the regular sketches and colour moodboards.  I can't wait to share them with you.

This month's sponsor is Rainbow Splendour.  If you haven't got your hands on a little bit of the Rainbow I suggest you do.  I particularly love the wood veneer Chloe comes up with.  You can check it our via the Facebook Page.

As usual you can link up via the link on the Blog or head over to the Facebook page and add your entry to the wall.  Or better yet why not do both.  It's a great way to get some feedback and some lovely comments on you work.

I can't wait to see what you all come up with this month and I can't wait to introduce you to the new team starting next month.
