NOVEMBER CHALLENGE | "GET LOST" MOODBOARD

Pinch and a punch for the first of the month.  Time for a new challenge.  This month we have a moodboard that is Fairytale themed.  We want you to be inspired.  Find something in the images that connects with you and create a layout.  Simple.

JANUARY CHALLENGE | "GOT THE BLUES"

HAPPY NEW YEAR LOVELIES!

I hope that Santa was good to you and you have all your New Years Resolutions listed ready to be broken by the end of the month. :P  I have decided once again to partake in the Ali Edwards One Little Word but without all the commitment of the document in an album stuff.  I am going to do it via my favourite social media - Instagram.  You know all the pictures without all the bulls*&% that goes with it...well less of it any ways.  I would love to know your resolutions and if you are participating in One Little Word so leave a comment!

So, it's a New Year and there are a few changes taking place this year.  Skai had decided to step back due to other commitments and we are adding two new team members.... A homegrown talent of Gwen Wruck and an international, Veronique Gagne.  You will recognise Gwen as a big contributor to the now defunked Scrapbooking Memories Magazine and she was also one of last years masters. Veronique guested for me last year and loved the challenge so much she accepted my offer to join the team.  Both Gwen and Veronique have very different styles and I know you will find some inspiration from these lovely ladies.  Go and check out their links in the side bar or under her take on this months challenge.

On to this months challenge.  I decided to start things off easy with a Colour moodboard.  Remember you can be inspired by anything about the moodboard but it has to include the featured colour....the title is "Got the Blues"  so you guessed it the feature colour is Blue.

INTERNATIONAL GUEST DESIGNER | ÅSA JOHANSSON

I majorly stuffed up and this month and in the mist of final exams I forgot to hit share on this months International Guest Designer.  I am sooooooo Sorry.

But I still have today to share,
Please welcome Åsa Johannson to Scrap the Girls this month.

Hi! My name is Åsa Johansson and I come from Sweden. I live in the middle of Sweden with my family of 5, or actually six with the dog. I work as a teacher. I was so thrilled when Krisy asked me to be a guest designer at Scrap the Girls. I love this blog and have participated in their challenges. I´ve been a scrapper since 2007 when I was pregnant with my twin girls (in the photo of my page). I´m really addicted to this hobby. It makes me able to relax, do something creative, get to know new friends and so on.... And I get to practice my english which isn´t that good (hope you understand me). The list over good things with scrapping is so long. I do layouts and cards mostly. My style is CAS and I love to use the color pink (that mood board was perfect for me), stiching and mist. I think that´s my signature. I design for a couple of teams and I love it! It´s a perfect way to connect world wide. I hope you like my page and that you got some inspiration to create yourself and participate in this fun challenge! Thank you so much Scrap the Girls for the opportunity to guesting you!
