This sketch proved to be very popular for everyone to just follow as it was. There were a few that tried to change it up or flip it but the majority just kept it as it was. It was an easy sketch to follow and just as easy to make it your own without too much work. Thank you to everyone that linked up. I was just blown away by the entries this month.
The winner of the July sketch challenge is.... Ros Coutts!
As soon as I lay eyes on this layout, I was transported to the seaside. The freshness of the salt air and cool summer breeze. I am not a lover of summer usually but this layout had me wishing for summer to hurry up!
Ros if you can send me an email to popleopod@gmail.com I will arrange with Ev from Scrapbook Boutique to get in touch with you to claim your prize.
A massive thank you to Scrapbook Boutique for sponsoring Scrap the Girls last month. I appreciate it so much.
In the meantime, have you planned your entry for this months Moodboard challenge? Don't forget to link up or share it on the Facebook wall.
Happy making stuff

JULY INTERNATIONAL GUEST DESIGNER #1
Hi, I'm back again for the second NEW share this month the International Guest Designer. The first International is one that has played along with Scrap the Girls for sometime now. Her take on the sketch is fantastic. Her use of papers in her layouts amazes me.
Please welcome ROMY VEUL.
"My name is Romy Veul and I'm a 23-year-old scrapbooker and cardmaker from the Netherlands. I have been scrapbooking for almost half of my life, as I started scrapbooking when I was only 13 years old. I love this hobby, as it is a great creative outlet and a wonderful way to document my memories. Besides scrapbooking, I have just got my master's degree as a linguist at University and currently working as a junior researcher. When I'm not working or scrapbooking, I love to spend time with friends and family.
I really loved the sketch and had lots of fun working with it. I was inspired by the two clusters of embellishments and papers in the sketch and by the circles. I replaced the circle-shaped papers by two chipboard circles. The girl in the picture is my adorable niece Elise. Isn't she just too cute in her Spanish dress?"

JULY HOMEGROWN GUEST DESIGNER #1
Hi Beauties, As promised this month is the start of new things. Each month we will now be featuring a Homegrown Guest Designer and an International Guest Designer. Today I am sharing the first Homegrown Guest Designer.... DRUM ROLL PLEASE and WELCOME:
ADELE TOOMEY - AKA INKIE QUILL
Adele is most well known online as "Inkie Quill". She is a YouTube sensation with her YouTube channels - Inkie Quill and Let's Get Inkie. She is currently a member of the Scraptastic Design Team and has been on several others in the past. Adele enjoys a variety of scrappy endeavours including traditional 12x12 layouts, smaller layouts, Project Life as well as Art Journalling. Adele's style includes lots of embellishments and gold! Adele is very active on her social media including Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook and her Facebook Group "Scrapaholics Anonymous".
Here is Adele's take on this months sketch.
How great is it to see a different size other than 12x12? And what a great first Homegrown Designer!
I will be back next week with our first International Guest Designer. She is from Holland and is only young but very active in the world of blog challenges. Have you worked out who she is yet?
