WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER - SEPTEMBER DEAR JOHN SKETCH WINNERS

I am trying to be organised ahead of my exams and thought I would pop in and share last months "Dear John" sketch winners.   I just want to thank Sue again for the sketch and understanding how I like to push people out of their comfort zones and to see where they take our challenges.  For so long people have just produced layouts that are the challenge but I like to encourage creativity and our challenges are for inspiration.

This months Homegrown winner is Tracey B with her literal interpretation of the challenge and the use of some awesome ephemera...old school letters.  Does anyone actually do this anymore?  I love it.
Congratulations you have won a kit from D-lish Scraps.

The second winner we have this month is: Lyn Bowden

You have won a kit from Kitaholics Kits.

And finally the international winner this month with a prize pack of flair from the awesome Accent Scrapbooking is: Christel

To all the winners, if you can send me a message via the Facebook page with your postage details, I will arrange for your prizes to be sent out.

A huge thank you to this months sponsors - D-lish Scraps, Kitaholic Kits and Accent Scrapbooking.  Your support of Scrap the Girls Challenge is greatly appreciated.  Please make sure you have a look at what these awesome sponsors have to offer and place your orders.

How are you going for this months "Think Pink" challenge.   Perhaps you have organised a Breast Cancer fundraiser this month.  If you have I would love to see, please share your photos on the Facebook page.

Don't forget you can link up via the Facebook page or the link on the blog.  But please REMEMBER to add your country initials to your name so we know which prize you qualify for.

Thanks to everyone that played along in September.

First up NOVEMBER SKETCH WINNER:

SANDRA BRIMELOW  Even though these are colours that usually makes one cringe.  Sandra has done a fantastic job and of course nailed the sketch.

Thank you to Flutterby Designs for Sponsoring us in November:  Sandra PM me and I will hook you up with Anita to claim your prize.

Thank you to Charms Creations for sponsoring us in December.  If you haven't ordered your Charms Creations make sure you head over to the store and place your order.

Thank you to everyone that played along with us in 2016.  I have things planned for our little blog this year that I hope you enjoy.

The link is now sorted for this months moodboard so make sure you link up or just share on the Facebook page. I can't wait to see what you come up with and to share with you the DT for 2017.  I am a bit excited.

January Free For All Challenge

Good morning crafty peeps, and a very happy new year from the STG team!

This month the Design Team had fun playing with goodies from Dark Room Door. Creative Director - Rachel Greig has generously offered to sponsor a prize for one winner this month! Thank you, Rachel.  You can see the full range of gorgeous Dark Room Door products here: http://www.darkroomdoor.com

Because it is the start of a new year and you may be feeling a little worn out from silly season festivities I thought we might do a one-off 'free for all' challenge. You can create whatever you like, whatever colours you like, and whatever design you like. The only rule is your layout must be exclusive to the Scrap The Girls challenge, and of course, must be a layout where you 'Scrap The Girls' (of course!) to be eligible for the Dark Room Door prize.

But just in case you like to work within parameters, here is a lovely sketch designed by the lovely Kristine Davidson to get your creative cogs going.  Kristine has been kind enough to give STG permission to use her sketch designs for future challenges too.

Optional Sketch

Here's what our wonderful Design Girls came up with using Dark Room Door Montage products on their layouts.
