Today's International Guest Designer I have followed for a long while on Instagram and I was so excited when she agreed to play along with Scrap The Girls this month. Please welcome Stephanie Buice.
Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie and I am thrilled to be here as a guest at Scrap The Girls. A little bit about myself and why I love scrapbooking. My husband and I live in Alabama with our 5 year old son Brady (If you follow my work at all I’m sure you know all about him), I love being a stay at home mom and getting to work here is a dream. I have been a crafter since the day I could cut with my first scissors, but involved in the industry since about 2010. Not only have I met some of my best friends this way but also have found a fun creative outlet.
Thanks for having me and I hope you’ll enjoy what I have to share!
As you can probably tell, the colors of the mood board was really the main inspiration for my layout. I love the blues and teals and really wanted them to be represented well in my project. Another thing that really stood out to me was the light and airy feel of the challenge photos. The sea glass and
ocean waves made me thing of vellum so I knew I also wanted to include that in some way. For my layout I cut strips from different patterned papers in the color scheme and glued them to the top and left side of my layout. Then I added in my layers and photos as well as my title and a few
embellishments. My journaling was the finishing touch and I called it done!
Thank you for having me here today!
I am sure you can agree that Stephanie's layout really captures the moodboard.

HOMEGROWN GUEST DESIGNER #10 | LIZZY CRUST
Today I welcome another Homegrown talent to our Scrap the Girls Spotlight. Her stuff is pretty amazing. When I asked for her bio I didn't expect it to say she hasn't been scrapping for that long....
Please welcome - Lizzy Crust
"Hi, I am Lizzy and I have been scrapbooking since Jan 2016 and have loved growing in my styles and learning new techniques, as well as joining in with the online world of scrapping with challenges and Design Teams. I love fussy cutting, layers, and flowers. Thanks so much for having me as a Guest designer for Scrap the Girls this month!
My thoughts about this challenge..
I was inspired the minute I saw the challenge, the colors are fresh and beachy and I knew I wanted to scrap a photo of my daughter Hannah.. The greens in the mood board remind me of her eyes which change in the hues of green. I have used a lot of my favorite embellishments on this layout including stencils, chipboard, die cuts and flowers."
And here is Lizzy's Layout
How's your layout coming along for this months challenge. Link up for your chance to win a prize pack from our Sponsor - UmWowStudio.
Remember you can also share to the Facebook wall if you don't have a blog.

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER | MARCH CHALLENGE
This month has been a little crazy with cyclonic weather to start, then school holidays and Easter so I am a bit behind. Thankfully everything has now resumed to normal and I actually have time to think.
Last months theme challenge proved to be a popular one with a lot of people playing along. I am glad my idea of themed challenges was taken to so well. There is another one planned for May so keep an eye out for that.
I opened the question up to the DT this month for their thoughts for a winner. We had a record number of entries and of course there were a number of entries that really appealed to the team. However there was one that I thought was really awesome and the design team agreed with me. So Congratulations to Entry #6 - Tracey B
Your layout was pretty amazing. It just goes to show you don't need alot of colour to make something that is interesting and eye catching. You can check out Tracey's Blog here.
Tracey if you would like to contact me via the Facebook page, I will arrange for your 2crafty Chipboard pack to be sent out to you.
Thank you again to 2crafty for sponsoring us this month. If you haven't already head over and check out their store.
This months moodboard seems to have stumped a lot of people. Remember it is all about inspiration. Have a little bit of fun and make sure you link up. This months prize is an awesome one so don't miss out.
Remember you can post them on the Facebook page too, if you don't have a blog, or would just like to share them after you have linked up feel free.

APRIL CHALLENGE | "SEAGLASS" MOODBOARD
This month we are returning to a Scrap the Girls favourite challenge, the Moodboard. This one has me dreaming of dipping my toes in the sea and doing a bit of a fossick to see what sea treasures I can find. What do you think?
As with all of the moodboard challenges, take from this what you like. Be inspired by one of the photos, or just the colours. It's all about how you want to interpret it.
Here is how the DT was inspired:
