FEBRUARY CHALLENGE | "DIP ME IN COLOUR"

Pinch and a Punch...Welcome to the first of February.  Today I introduce to you our new Design team for 2020.

Today we welcome back Sue, Tracey, Belinda, Lisa-Marie, Tamara, Anne...

And we welcome on board.... Lizzy Hill, Julie Taylor, Rosanna Lapalombella, Yvette Fanculli, Chantal Goyette & Julie Schinkel.

These ladies were selected from our biggest lot of applications we have ever received and there are so many more I would have happily had join the team.  Thank you to all who applied.  Be sure to play along throughout the year as your layouts and techniques are awesome!

2017 DESIGN TEAM CALL

I'm looking for several designers to keep doing what our current team does - create beautiful, innovative and inspiring layouts for our Scrap The Girls challenge blog. This is your opportunity to shine and inspire our followers, and share your creative genius with the world!

What I'm looking for for the February - July 2017 team:

• Committed individuals with scrap savvy, and love to scrap the girls in their lives!
• Individuals that must take crisp, clean photo's of their layouts, including being able to remove colour casts and resize photo's so they are blog ready. 
• Individuals that have experience blogging, emailing and using Facebook to 'share' broadcasts relating to the monthly challenges and sponsor/s for that month.
• Individuals that can meet monthly deadlines.
• Individuals that can keep a challenge secret - we get 4-6 months of challenges ahead of time.
• The successful applicant must be prepared NOT to watermark their images as this detracts from the beautiful work

Why be on the team?

• Inspire our blog followers and challenge players each month with your beautiful work
• Occasional free products to play with from our sponsors
• Be part of an awesome design team and community via a private FB group
• Online exposure for you through direct links on the website, and social media sites.

As a STG Design Team member you will need to:

• Create 1 (one) layout per month, starting February through to July 2017, occasionally incorporating product from the sponsor of that month.
• Share the monthly reveal via your Facebook page and personal blog (if you use/have these).

How to Apply:

• Send your application to popleopod@outlook.com before 11:59pm EST, 30 November 2016!
• Send 3 of your fave layouts that best represent your style, and show off different techniques you like to use - these can be recent layouts or ones from your archives - resized to 600px please. NOTE: These don't have to be Scrap the Girl Layouts, just layouts that best represent you.
• Tell me about YOU! Your family, location, why you scrap, who inspires you, what inspires you, etc.
• Tell me about your scrapbooking style.  What do you consider your style to be?  What's your signature?
• Send me a link to your blog if you have one, or online gallery, Facebook and Instagram
• Make sure you let me know if you are already on any Design Teams, and if you have upcoming commitments when you won't be available to participate in monthly challenges.
• This call is open to everyone, regardless of geographic location.

Remember you have to be in it to win it.  All applications are considered.

All Applicants will receive a confirmation email when your application is opened and read.  Only Successful Applicants will be contacted again by email on or before 15 December 2016. The first Design Team Layout will be due in January 2017 for reveal on 1 February 2017.

AKA: Popleopod

PLEASE WELCOME THE NEW DESIGN TEAM (June - January 2017)

Good Morning, Pinch and a Punch for the first of the month.  Welcome to Winter in Australia!  Today I am so excited to be sharing with you the new Design Team.  There are a few new additions and a few familiar faces that have opted to stay on for another term.

So without further ado....

Welcome to:

Tania Ballestrin

Tania from Adelaide and currently living in the Northern Territory.  She is currently on a few other Design Teams so you may have seen her work already.  Tania's work is very pretty with a bit of mixed media thown in. You are going to love her style.

Michelle Stokes

Michelle is a very familiar face.  She is one of the 2016 Scrapbooking Memories Masters and is currently also on the design team for D-lish Scraps.  Michelle's style is very clean and feminine.  She loves a cut file.

Lucie Forte

Lucie is a bit of International flavour for the team.  Lucie is from St-Philippe, on the south shore of Montreal, Quebec (Canada). She is French spoken and her layouts often feature a French title and journalling.  (Don't worry she will provide us with a translation and we all might learn a little French along the way.) Lucies Style, I think, is bordering on girl grunge.  Just not quite so dark.  Her layouts feature mixed media backgrounds, a lot of flowers and her little girl.

Anita Bownds

Anita is a Queensland girl and a face you might recognise.  She is on the design teams Kaisercraft and Couture Creations.  Anita describes her style as clean with a splash of mixed media.
