Hi Everyone.
After a lot of thought and consideration, I have decided to make some changes to Scrap the Girls. There has been a dramatic drop over the past few years of challenge participants as well as the loss of a number of sponsors due to closures, increased out of pocket costs for me with Linky subscriptions and a few pushy messages coming through. I did consider closing the blog but after discussions with the current DT and a lot of thought, I have decided to change Scrap the Girls from a challenge blog to an Inspiration blog. What this means is that there will still be monthly inspiration posted just like now, the DT will still share their designs but there will no longer be prizes or a link up. I have updated the Facebook page to allow you all to be able to share directly your layouts and share ideas and thoughts about the monthly challenge and interact with one another. This blog will also be directing you to check out the Facebook page. Blogs are no longer as popular as they once were so there is no need to double the amount of work that is required to run this page.
I will need a few more DT members to join the inspiration team starting in April as a few of our current members have decided to move on at the end of their design term in March. All you need to do is send me a Facebook message to the STG page with an example of your work and tell me about yourself and why you want to join the team. If you are successful, you will need to complete one layout per month and post directly on to the Facebook page one a month. You will also be required to help manage the page and respond to any questions, comment on other works shared and be a team player.
So lets move on...
Here is Februarys inspiration....
Every girl at some point loves a bit of Disney. So this month, you are to be inspired by a princess icon and create a page. The design team have come up with all sorts of brilliant pages to get your creative juices flowing.
Please share all your layouts this month directly on the Facebook page. I will put up a folder that hopefully you can all add your layouts too. Fingers crossed the change over goes smoothly.
If you have any comments or ideas please send them to me via the Facebook page.
Thanks for your understanding and playing along with STG
Krisy.
