AUGUST CHALLENGE | "WILD WOMEN DO"

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to August....This month we have a moodboard to get your creative juices flowing.

This moodboard is a bit of a challenge if I do say so myself but the girls have nailed it with heaps of inspiration for you.

Last month we said good bye to Kareen she will be miss one the team.  But today I welcome a new team member that I am sure is going to inspire you no end.  Welcome to the Team - Tracey Thorne also known as Tiddlypeep.  Tracey has a mixed style that varies but is always a feast to the eyes.

This month we are showcasing our Sponsor - Charms Creations.  Charm has custom made and supplied some Charms creations to all the Design girls to show you how versatile your creations are.  They are a wonderful staple to have in your stash so make sure you stock up.  Here is the link to her shop and Facebook Page, she also has an inspiration page too.  She ships international so go nuts!

Here is the Design Team inspiration for this month:

Remember to link up you can do it via the link here on the blog or share it to our Facebook Page or tag us on Instagram.  We have our usual International Sponsor still on board - Accent Scrapbooking so everyone is in with a chance.

We can't wait to see what all you "Wild Women do" with this months challenge. (See what I did there LOL)

HOMEGROWN GUEST DESIGNER #15 | FARREL TAYLOR

Hi Everyone,
How are you all going with this months Sketch by Sue?  Well I have a little more inspiration for you in the form of out #14 Homegrown Guest Designer.  Please welcome Farrel Taylor.

Hello there! My name is Farrel Tailor and recently my loving husband and gorgeous 3 sons along with myself moved back to my home state of Western Australia. I have been a crafter for about 14 years and started my love of crafts as a card maker which soon turned into scrapbooking once my first son was born.

My style of crafting is what you would call messy! I love all forms of mixed media whether that be on scrapbook layouts, a canvas, cards or art journaling. I love stepping out of my comfort zone and getting my hands messy....I'm not truely happy unless my fingers are stained with glorious colours of inks and sprays!!!

I am very blessed to be apart of some amazing Design Teams which are Scrap The Boys, The Crafter's Workshop, Funky Flairs Studio, Sassy Scrappers and The Dusty Attic.

And here is Farrels take on the sketch...

Another awesome take on the sketch.  Isn't amazing how a sketch can be interpreted so differently.
What do you see?  Make sure you link up. Remember that if you don't have a blog you can still play along by posting it on the wall of the Facebook group.

Thanks Farrel for playing along with us this month.

INTERNATIONAL GUEST DESIGNER #13 | TUSIA LECH

Hi Lovelies,
This month we have an International Guest Designer that plays a big part in the Scrapbooking industry.  She is the lady behind the beautiful brand that is 7dots Studio.  Please welcome Tusia Lech.

"Scrapbooking fills my whole life – it is all around me – in my private life and in my job career, as I am the owner of 7 Dots Studio and also an eager scrapbooker . I love the process of creation – I have created things since early childhood – all kinds of handmade things always attracted me. I cannot imagine my life without making some art. Even if I leave for a weekend, I always take my small “art-bag”, filled with art-journal supplies.
I love all kinds of media – if I would have to define my style, I would say that media are the only constant thing. My favourite colours are fresh, bold greens, blues and pinks, but at the same time I just love delicate, pale hues of beige, rose and white. However there is something in my projects, what can be found always – a positive, feminine style.
I am lucky enough to be a designer in a few very creative places. I love drinking coffee, reading books, walking through the forest, watching flowers on the meadow, basking in the autumn sun and being deep in my inner world. I can say that I am a happy person and wouldn’t change a single thing in my life.

"The nature of women is very complex. We are fragile but also tough. We are delicate but determined too. For my layout I have chosen a photo of mine in Halloween disguise. How often we are "in disguise" in real life... The whole composition of embellishments was meant to show the opposites, that live inside us: delicate subtle flowers, light feathers and rusty distressed metallic elements. Thank you for inviting me as Guest Designer - the moodboard is very inspiring and during my creative process many interesting thoughts came to the surface."
Hugs,
Tusia"

So what do you think?  How different is Tusia's take on this months challenge?!  Have you linked up yet?  Only 5 more days to submit your entry into this months moodboard challenge.  Remember you can link up via the blog or add it to the Facebook page.
